This will take place in one of the four gorilla groups within Bwindi Impenetrable National Park. Bwindi has six habituated families and the gorillas there live in thicker moist tropical forest. These include Habinyanja, Rushegura, Nkuringo, Nshongi, Bitukura and Mubare group.
Gorilla tracking in bwindi impenatrable is a challenging activity which may involve you trekking over the steep hillsides in search of these World few remaining forest giants. On this safari, there will not only be gorillas to be viewed but also other animals and bird species. Other primates living in the forest may also be seen as well as birds.

3 Days Rwanda Gorilla Safari

Day 1: Depart for Parc National Des Volcnans
Meet at Kigali International Airport by your Adventure Trails guide, who will drive you to Kigali city, for a city tour including a visit to the genocide memorial centre at Gisozi. Dinner and overnight at Gorilla Lodge/Kinigi Guest house

Day 2: Gorilla Tracking
This day after breakfast you will go to the Rwanda Gorilla office headquarters and get the briefing from the guides, and then it’s off on to your adventure to meet these thrilling gentle giants of Rwanda. Your guide will take you through thick vegetation on a 1-7 hour trail, when you finally meet the gorillas, you will spend one hour with them. Dinner and overnight at Gorilla Lodge/Kinigi Guest house

With beautifullakes and rich grasslands which are set deep in the crater valley, this is truly the most breathtaking scenery in the park. The park spreads over an area of 1978 sq kilometers in the western arm of the Great East African Rift Valley 418 km from the capital Kampala and takes approximately 6 hours. The park is a home to a variety of wildlife including elephants, lions, hippos, buffaloes, Uganda Kobs, baboons and birds all typical riverrine savannah habitats and the famous Kazinga Channel. In the Southern Parts is the Ishasha sector with the tree climbing lions and the Maramagambo forest, one of the largest surviving natural forests in Uganda.
