7 days Uganda Rwanda Gorilla
Day 1: Arrival in Uganda
On arrival at Entebbe International Airport, our tour guide will welcome you and transfers to the hotel of your choice. Here depending on your arrival we can plan for , a city tour of Kampala may be arranged for you. The most interesting places in kampala include Kasubi Tombs, Wamala tombs, Namugongo Martyrs Shrine, Museums and craft shops, etc. Dinner and overnight at any of the bset places in kampala.
Day 2: Kampala Bwindi National Park
After an early morning breakfast, our tour guide will transfer you to western Uganda depending on the nature of the road via Ishasha sector of Queen Elizabeth national park where tree-climbing lions may be sighted sometimes in the baobab tree branches near the road to Bwindi. Arrive in the evening at Buhoma. Dinner and overnight at Luxury Gorilla Forest camp /Mid Range Lake Kitandara luxury tents / Buhoma Homestead or basic at Buhoma Community Bandas.
Day 3: Gorilla Tracking in Bwindi Impenetrable National Park
After an early morning breakfast and transfer to the park headquarters for a briefing from the park ranger before commencing the gorilla trek at 08:00 am local time. The time taken to encounter the mountain gorillas varies subject to the movement of these apes in the natural environment. Encountering the mountain gorillas in the command of a silverback is worth an Africa adventure tour. Return to the lodge for relaxation. In case you have done the tracking successfully in time, you can have a community walk to the Pygmies (Batwa) for cultural performance. Along the way you may visit the Munyaga River Fall where a variety of butterfly species and bird species can be viewed. Local beer brewers are also near the same place. Dinner and overnight at Luxury Gorilla Forest camp /Mid Range Lake Kitandara luxury tents / Buhoma Homestead or basic at Buhoma Community Bandas.
Day 4: Bwindi to Rwanda
After breakfastfast, drive via Kisoro crossing the border to Ruhengeri in Rwanda. Dinner and overnight at Mountain Gorilla Nest or Kinigi Guest House.
Day 5: Gorilla Trekking in Pac National De Volcans
After the early morning breakfast, ther is a transfer to the park headquarters for a briefing from the park ranger and then undertake a mountain gorilla tracking tour at the slopes of the Virunga ranges. Encountering the few remaining captivating mountain gorillas in the thick rain forest is a big dream to tourists to the African jungles. You will be allowed to spend an hour with these acrobatic habituated gorillas. You are free to take photographs provided you do away with the camera flash. After the trek, transfer to Lake Bunyonyi for dinner and overnight at Bunyonyi Overland camp or Arcadia cottages.
Day 6: Lake Bunyonyi Tour
After a morning breakfast, enjoy a boat cruise on this Ugandas deepest lake as you view the numerous birds. You may go the Islands called Engyezi for a community tour. A traditional dance can be organized for you. Other activities worth participating in include birding, cycling, and sun bathing, swimming or even canoeing. Dinner and overnight at Arcadia cottages/ Bunyonyi Overland camp.
Day 7: Lake Bunyonyi to Kampala
After a heavy breakfast drive back to Kampala, having lunch en route. We shall then transfer you to the airport for your flight.
