6 Days Safari Trip :
Day 1: Depart for Queen Elizabeth National Park
After breakfast, depart for Queen Elizabeth National Park, with lunch en route. With beautiful lakes and rich grasslands which are set deep in the crater valley, this is truly the most breathtaking scenery in the park. The park spreads over an area of 1978 sq kilometers in the western arm of the Great East African Rift Valley 418 km from the capital Kampala and takes approximately 6 hours. The park is a home to a variety of wildlife including elephants, lions, hippos, buffaloes, Uganda Kobs, baboons and birds all typical riverrine savannah habitats and the famous Kazinga Channel. In the Southern Parts is the Ishasha sector with the tree climbing lions and the Maramagambo forest, one of the largest surviving natural forests in Uganda. The Northern part is traversed by the equator and is dominated by the scenery of crater lakes with lots of flamingos. Overnight at Mweya Safari Lodge/Bush Lodge.
Day 2: Game drive and Launch Cruise
After breakfast, go for a morning game drive which reward you with an opportunity to view the big cats as well as a diversity of antelopes, elephants, buffalo, and a number of birds, return to the Lodge for Lunch and some relaxation before, going for an afternoon 2 hour launch cruise on the Kazinga channel that connects lake George to Lake Edward. The launch cruise will gift you with a chance to see a number of water birds, hippos, crocodiles, elephants and buffaloes grazing on the shores. Over night at Mweya Safari Lodge/Bush Lodge.
Day 3: Chimpanzee tracking and depart for Bwindi Impenetrable National Park
Early morning we depart for Kyambura George, where we climb through a tropical forest to catch a glimpse of a variety of primates including the chimpanzee we return at 12:00pm we have lunch and we prepare our selves for a drive to Bwindi impenetrable forestsHome to the rare Mountain gorillas After a five hour drive through villages, towns, highlands, and grazing lands southwest we get to Bwindi impenetrable forest. Overnight at Luxury Gorilla Forest camp /Mid Range Lake Kitandara luxury tents / Buhoma Lodge or basic at Buhoma Community Bandas.
Day 4: Gorilla Tracking
Early morning we have our break fast and after we gather at the Uganda wild life authority Bwindi headquarters for registering, get walking sticks and group up for pre-trek briefing. 8:00 am we start the gorilla trek which takes us between half and hour to up to whole day through a steeply forested landscape which has incredible dense under growth an experience of penetrating the impenetrable.
The experience of tracking and finding these great primates is very, exciting; there are 9 other primate species including chimpanzee, blue monkey, black and white colobus monkey, plus 300 bird species and 200 species of butter flies.Overnight at Luxury Gorilla Forest camp /Mid Range Lake Kitandara luxury tents / Buhoma Lodge or basic at Buhoma Community Bandas.
Day 5: Depart for Lake Mburo National Park
After break fast we will head for Lake Mburo National Park, Uganda's fourth National park was gazzeted in 1982.The Park covers an area surface of 256kmq. It offers varied scenic beauty hills and valleys. Later take the boat cruise on Lake Mburo which will last 2 hrs. Do an evening game drive, with a chance to view, Zebra, Impala, Topis, Wipsprings, Elands, Buffaloes, Hippos, Crocodiles, and a variety of bird species. Overnight at Mantana Tented Camp/Rwonyo Camp
Day 6: Nature walk and drive to Kampala
After breakfast, go for a morning nature walk, and prepare to leave for Kampala lunch on the way.
